Project Description
Universitas Pattimura hopes to raise the standards for its English Department and requests that the EL Fellow assist in the following ways: teach undergraduate courses in writing, methodology, and research; assist lecturers in writing proposals for study abroad; and assist in program assessment and strategic plans for the university.
Project Objectives
Improving quality of ELT instruction; sending more staff to study abroad; and preparing teachers to write international proposals.
About the Host Institution
Universitas Pattimura is a state university with eight Faculties, including an English Program in the Faculty of Teacher Training and Educational Science. The university has over 11,000 students and over 1,000 faculty members.
