Host Institution Bangladesh Madrassa Teachers’ Training Institute Project Description The EL Fellow will be placed at the Madrassa Teachers’ Training Institute where he/she is one of three English teachers who teach four week in-service programs (and occasional shorter programs) for English teachers from Madrassas across Bangladesh. The training programs include general training in teaching methodologies (in which the English teachers are grouped with teachers of other subjects) and two lessons a day in English. The Fellow will co-teach with his/her colleagues and will mentor them on appropriate EFL methodologies. |
