Project Description
The EL Fellow will work with regular English language teachers in Abu Dhabi. The Fellow must be proficient in the use of information to enhance learning as well as use the integrated skills method.  The Fellow will help deliver English language courses to employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. The Fellow will carry a work load of 40 hours/week, of which 20 will be actual classroom teaching. The remaining 20 hours will be utilized for course preparation, improving information technology skills and applications, faculty development, and interactions with the Abu Dhabi community. The work assignment of the Fellow will be exclusively devoted to the development and teaching of new courses with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. These courses will be English for Beginners, Advanced English, and Specialized English for Politicians.  The Fellow is expected to incorporate aspects of American culture into all of the above courses and also help promote a wider and deeper world view amongst Foreign Ministry officials and regular employees.
