Host Institution Ministry of Education/Training Centers Project Description
The EL Fellow will conduct training sessions for English teachers in public secondary schools, focusing on development of curriculum and teaching materials and on teacher training at the Ministry of Education's five training centers nationwide and at school district training centers in areas that otherwise have not been reached with significant EFL programming. The Fellow will visit all of Syria's provinces, providing training throughout the country, including the most remote and poorly served areas of the country. The training plan will include two week-long visits to each site, the first for a basic training course, and the second for classroom observation, additional training and follow-up. |
