Project Description
The EL Fellow will teach English to university students in the remedial English program. The Fellow's presence will allow Jordanians in the north the opportunity to improve their English and have contact with an American. This presence will have a large impact on Jordanians views of Americans while at the same time improving the English language learning experience of young Jordanian university students. The Fellow will also develop and manage extracurricular activities such as an English club, book club, and film club. The Fellow will help develop new curriculum and will be a resource for other English teachers. The Fellow will teach approximately 15 contact hours per week and have 5 contact hours of extracurricular activities.
