Host Institution Ministry of Education Project Description
The EL Fellow will be based at the Ministry of Education Directorate of Educational Technologies in Ankara and will be working primarily with the projects related to technology in education. The main project that the ELF will be involved in is the preparation and development of ELT materials for the distance education website for all levels (beginning to high intermediate) from 4th to 12th grade. Other projects that are needed include: in-service teacher training in Ankara and likely travel to other provinces on CALL related materials; writing on-line teacher training materials; software evaluation and consultation. Candidate must be familiar with computer assisted language learning and distance education, as well as be experienced in teaching younger learners and EFL (versus ESL) settings.
