Host Institution Ministry of Education Project Description
The Ministry of Education will host the EL Fellow, who will focus on training Moldova's teachers to teach the new pre-university foreign language curriculum. The Ministry has agreed to provide a desk and phone, as well as administrative support for the Fellow to work with teachers around Moldova. This project is the next step in a well-coordinated and comprehensive plan to support English teaching in Moldova. The Fellow will also collaborate with the Association of English Language Professors Teachers (APLE), and conduct workshops on American culture, methodology, testing, and other related topics at the Embassy-sponsored English Teaching Resource Center (ETRC) in capital city, Chisinau, as well as at the smaller regional resource centers and the three American Corners located outside of the capital. |
