Project Description
The EL Fellow will teach and further develop language communication classes to second and third year English majors. The Fellow will develop language courses and proficiency based assessment instruments that are in line with the CEF (Common European Framework of Reference for Languages) framework. The Fellow will continue to develop workshops and mentor training programs for secondary school teachers. The Fellow will also continue to work with secondary school teachers in developing the matriculation exams for graduating secondary school seniors. The Fellow will teach a bi-weekly (3 hours in total) course to secondary school students enrolled at the local Medresa (Islamic high school) who are recipients of ACCESS micro-scholarships.  The Fellow will continue to be active in developing regular and relevant programs for the American Corner located in Tuzla.
