University of Languages Project Description
The EL Fellow's main affiliation will be AzETA (Azerbaijan English Teachers Association). The Fellow will work closely with the AzETA Baku branch and travel to four regional AzETA branches to hold teacher trainings. The Fellow will spend between 20-30 hours/week working with AzETA to develop and implement teacher training programming so as to improve AzETA's outreach to English teachers at all levels in the
educational system. The Fellow will also conduct training for the teachers of Academic
Writing and Reading at the University of Languages Academic Writing and
Reading 2 times a week (80 minutes each). Additionally, the Fellow will teach English to the officers of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs twice a week (1.5 hours each). |
