Host Institution American Center Project Description
The EL Fellow will work in the American Center as a lynchpin teacher for the student programs. The Fellow will develop writing workshops to train teachers in Burma on how to teach writing. The Fellow will also be tasked with assisting a contract USAID American Center teacher with initiating a (Qualification in Language Teaching) QUILT course. In addition, the Fellow will continue assisting students who wish to study at U.S. universities by creating and leading a workshop on writing college essays. The Fellow will teach two "core classes" and one elective at the American Center. |
