Host Institution Fulbright Commission Project Description
The EL Fellow will work with the Fulbright Commission in Quito and travel throughout the country to conduct teacher training workshops and curriculum assessment, primarily at the university level. The Fellow will work with the Ministry of Education to improve English curriculum at the secondary school level and with several universities to improve their English programs. The Fellow will prepare and present teacher training workshops; design ELF curricula and materials as needed; consult with various institutions on curriculum development; and undertake special projects as needed. Some knowledge of Spanish is preferred as the Fellow will travel alone and will often be in situations in which little or no English is spoken. |
