Project Description
The EL Fellow will be responsible for teaching English language at the National School of Administration (ENA), at the University of Lome and the Secondary School Teacher Training Institute (DIFOP).  The courses will focus on strengthening undergraduate English language skills, with emphasis on reading, speaking and writing. The Fellow will also be responsible for developing appropriate teaching materials, assignments and exams.  In addition to language teaching, the course should include some study of literature and American culture. The Fellow is encouraged to use U.S. society and culture as a tool to teach language. The Fellow will be expected to teach up to 25 hours per week with the remaining hours dedicated to preparation and consultations with the teacher trainers at DIFOP.
